My approach to therapy
I provide a safe and supportive space where we can work together to address your emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. My goal is to help you develop effective coping skills, improve your self-esteem, and build healthy relationships. By creating a collaborative environment, I can help you overcome challenges and reach your full potential.


My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your emotions and experiences. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, I use a unique blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs.
I incorporate elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and shift negative thought patterns and behaviors. This empowers you with practical tools to manage your emotional well-being.
Drawing from a person-centred approach, I provide a non-directive, client-focused environment where your voice is the most important one. This allows us to move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.
You can have sessions in my peaceful, purpose-built therapy room or opt for Walk and Talk therapy near the open countryside. As an animal lover, I also welcome you to share your sessions with the gentle animals naturally drawn to the therapy space.

Exploring your concerns
When we first meet, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable to speak freely. Using a person-centred approach, I believe you are the expert on your own life. We start without a rigid agenda, allowing us to openly explore whatever you are experiencing—whether it’s anxiety, a major life change, or just a feeling of being stuck. This initial phase is all about listening and understanding your unique perspective so we can begin to uncover the roots of your concerns.
Building tools together
Once we have a clearer understanding of your situation, we move into a more collaborative phase. Here, I integrate elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). We’ll work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns or beliefs that might be affecting you. This isn’t about blaming you, but rather about noticing how your mind works. From there, I’ll provide you with practical tools and strategies you can use to navigate your challenges more effectively, helping you to develop new ways of thinking and reacting.
Gaining clarity and confidence
The ultimate goal of our work is to empower you with lasting change. By combining the empathy of the Person-Centred approach with the skill-building focus of CBT, you gain more than just a temporary fix. The result is a greater sense of clarity, confidence, and control. You’ll be better equipped to manage life’s ups and downs and face future challenges with a renewed sense of resilience.

Creating a safe space
A therapy session with me is a confidential and collaborative space. Typically lasting 50 minutes, our time together is a chance for you to talk openly about what’s on your mind without fear of judgment. There’s no set agenda; you are in the driver’s seat. We might explore your feelings, discuss challenges you’re facing, or work on practical strategies together—the direction is always guided by your needs and comfort. My role is to listen and help you gain new perspectives and tools.
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. Everything we discuss is held in the strictest confidence. What is said in the session stays in the session, creating a safe environment where you can be truly honest with yourself and me. My commitment is to your privacy, allowing you the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings without hesitation.
