The process
The process of Walk and Talk therapy is intentionally simple, designed to ease you into the therapeutic experience. We will meet at a pre-agreed location in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, where the natural environment immediately offers a sense of calm. The physical act of walking can help to release tension, and the side-by-side dynamic can feel less intense than traditional face-to-face sessions, allowing for a more open and natural conversation. You set the pace and the direction of our walk, giving you a sense of control and freedom.
This combination of gentle movement and nature often encourages new perspectives, making it easier to process your feelings and find clarity.
Rest assured, the process still incorporates the proven methods of CBT, Person-Centred, and Psychodynamic therapy to help you achieve your goals.
